Best Interview With Ivey Ever

Phil Ivey is known for shying away from the media but in this rare glimpse into his life he gives a behind the scenes look into what life is like for the best poker player in the world.

Although Ivey is known to love the craps tables and some blackjack when he's not playing poker it's still surprising to seem him play and win approx. $1,000,000 in just under an hour gambling at the craps tables. To him it doesn't even register. It's just money.

Ouch. That's got to hurt when you watch it on television later. But it just goes to show that even the greats can make mistakes sometimes. Makes some of us feel better about our own mistakes :-)

I'm not exactly on the Phil Ivey level but one has to wonder what was going through his mind. We've seen Ivey bluff with nothing in hands and push weak opponents off winners but here he has a pretty solid pocket pair and checks the flop, turn, and river in position.

It must have been a really off day for Phil because the guy I see winning million dollar sessions on Full Tilt Poker so frequently it's become boring doesn't let stuff like that happen.

Think you can take on Phil Ivey? Give it a shot at Full Tilt Poker.
